Wardlaw Tartan
The Wardlaw Tartan is for Wardlaws everywhere, Wardlows, Wardlaus, or any other spelling of the name. We invite you to join us!See us at the link for the new Tartan Register: www.tartanregister.gov.uk/ Search for 'Wardlaw'.
Our Wardlaw Tartan No. 6600 was registered with the Scottish Tartan Authority in August 2005. The two versions are 'Modern' and 'Muted'. The 'Modern' version is for most items, it is a medium weight suitable for skirts, shawls, bonnets, caps, ties, etc.
This is the 'Modern' version. You will get a sample of this tartan material in your Gift Package.
The 'Muted' version is the same design but in muted colors and a heavier weight more suitable for men's kilts.
Here are both versions, picture taken September 2008 at the House of Tartan in Comrie, Scotland.

and give them your measurements and exactly what you want. See Foster's kilt and other items in pictures below, and on home page. Also women's kilts, skirts and shawls can be ordered. You may also order lengths of the tartan from them. For instance a piece 4 yards long is $173. Some of these items such as the cufflinks will have to be ordered and may take some time to get here.

Foster & Julie Wardlaw and their family at three Highland Games this summer. Our President, Bill Wardlaw, took us to the Highland Games in Salado, Texas in November. Next year Foster is planning a full schedule of Games for us to attend. If you know of one in your area, please let us know. We hope all will attend if we have a Wardlaw Booth in your region.
